Maybe he just deep down he fears that Inuyasha may be stronger than him, which I know sounds pretty far-fetched condidering he's a full demon and all, but the theory that he might hate inuyasha's mom is a cool idea. He probably also fears that if Inuyasha could beat him then he will take over their father’s kingdom – putting him to shame for being defeated by a half demon, and also by having the Western Lands taken from him. If that did happen to Sesshomaru, he would be the laughing stock of the demon world – and I don’t think he’ll care much for that! For one thing, it would really wound his pride.

I like Teen Wolf and Goldenfire's theory. But it also depends on your point of view.I,presonally, like both of them.I just don't like the fact that Inu sometimes talks big,but has nothing to back it up.

sure, Inu can be a big ego-maniac sometimes, but who can blame him? oppressed as a child by humans and demons alike as well as constantly competing with his half brother might have made him feel insecure about his own abilities. i suppose he's just had to rely on himself to boost his self-esteem, which explains why his bark is often worse than his bite.
doggie puns are fun, ne? ;D

;DYou guys crack me up! I think it's pretty cool how Takahashi made Sesshomaru and Inuyasha almost complete opposites in terms of style. Inuyasha is just always talking smack, while Sesshomaru hardly talks. I know it's kinda wierd to say this, but I really don't like Inuyasha that much. i mean, I know he's the main character and all, but everytime he gets in a battle with Sesshomaru or Naraku, I just find myself rooting against him. It might be just the fact that he's kind of a punk to everybody, even those who try and help him(especially Kagome and Shippo).

ESPECIALLY Shippo. He's so mean,he's always picking on him or hitting Shippo!Poor, cute, little Shippo.I dont think it's fair to him,but at least he gets help from Kagome. But still,I think Shippo should have this little ravinous side of him that only comes out and attacks when Inu is picking on him,or hitting him as he does.Just to see how Inu likes it. ;D
I also feel bad for Kagome, because it seems as though she does want Inu to show his feelings for her,but it also looks like she knows he's stuck between her and Kikyo. But Inu is also a wuss just for the fact that he doesn't show it.He's had soo many chances, but he might as well be claimed blind, right?

Yes, that would be funny if Shippo went all “crazy” on InuYasha when no one else was around, so that when the others returned InuYasha would be all beat up and cowering from Shippo – now that would be a funny sight to see. ;D

And i also don't like how,in one of the episodes,Inu tries giving Sota,Kagomes kid bro, advice with his girl-trouble.I mean, yea,it worked, but that's only cuz Kagome helped him help Sota. Otherwise,Sota would have never been able to ask the little girl out.I mean,Kagome's right: What DOES he know about girls? He's stuck between two and can't make up his mind.(But then again, that was already mentiooned,so... )

as for that episode, i think Souta felt more comfortable asking another guy to help him out, you know, "man to man". ;D he figured that Inuyasha must have had a similar experience in his past and was hoping he would be able to give him some advice.
