Well, i have heard some great things about FMP and i plan to buy the DVD volumes later on. But presently, FMA would have to be my choice since i haven't seen FMP.

i agree with armand, the only reason i chose FMA is because it's the only one i've actually seen. i've only seen a promo episode of FMP! and i think it looks pretty good. i'm gonna have to check it out sometime. ;D

true true... I've only seen FMA too.. In that case, maybe this choice is kind of biased.

All right, here is a brief description:
"Sosuke Sagara is an elite soldier who belongs to an independent special force named "Mithril". Mithril is a self appointed military force that fights terrorism across the globe. With technology that is far superior to that of normal nations, Mithril intercedes on behalf of justice. Sagara, a Second Lieutenant under Mithril's command, is assigned to the duty of protecting a girl named Kaname Chidori, who attends high school in Japan. To accomplish this task, he pretends to be a transfer student attending at Kaname's school. As Sagara settles into his new role as classmate, a massive plot unfolds beginning with the kidnapping of Chidori. What is Chidori's role in the conspiracy? Why does she seem to be born with knowledge of technology that has only been recently invented?"

That was brief to me...
What i find odd is that the character's name is Sosuke Sagara.... in Rurouni Kenshin, a main character is named Sanosuke Sagara, it seems really copied. I gotta find out which one came out first.

If you have some extra cash and are looking for a really good anime, you can buy the Full Metal Panic! Box Set for $57.99 at Best Buy online. It's a really good anime. Good action, good humor, good comedy, great pacing, and it mixes things up. In it's 24 episodes, there is one underlying story, but 4 seperate sub stories, and the occassional independent comedy driven episode. Really good stuff, people. Check it out. : ) And if you do check it out, buy the box set. Each DVD is like $20, and there are 7 DVDs. The box set is 7 DVDs at $60, depending on where you buy. Great deal, if you ask me.

Fumoffu is a comedy spin off, but it rocks. A true FMP sequel is coming to Japanese TV later this year.

A true FMP sequel is coming to Japanese TV later this year. Yup, Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid will air in July 2005. Actually, it's been quite a while since the original series ended so it's about time.

I've only seen a few episodes of Full Metal Panic, but I still prefer Full Metal Alchemist. What is Full Metal?
