According to the AS' 2005 schedule, GITS 2nd Gig should be airing in September. Yet there are no official news dealing with the specific date. Rumors are that AS will be showing three movies consecutively, Inuyasha 2, Cowboy Bebop, and Escaflowne. After that, FMA is schedule to be aired and many speculate that GITS will do the same. Samurai Champloo might be taken off the air while PA gets its second run. Also, it is a possibility that FLCL will also be taken off the air. Inuyasha will continue and Futurama will still be invading our Saturdays. But for now, everything is still a mystery.
Edit: All right, the mystery is over. Today AS finally gave some answers to my questions. This is straight from the news section at AS' website:
On Saturday, October 8 InuYasha will take the 11 p.m. spot, followed by Fullmetal Alchemist, which will move its premieres to 11:30 p.m.
Samurai Champloo will begin repeats Saturday, October 8 at 12:30 a.m., leading up to new episodes beginning November 19.
After its Sunday premiere on October 2, The Boondocks will repeat on Saturdays, beginning October 8 at midnight.
The second-season premiere of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex has been moved to Saturday, November 19 at 11 p.m.
All right, those bastards moved the premiere of GITS 2nd Gig to November. However, it will start the Saturday line up. Wow, i never expected that one.
And then those pot smocking monkeys put a comedy show in the middle of the Action Block. What the hell are they thinking?

Okay....perhaps they thought that putting comedy in the middle of action night might increase the ratings. It does make sense, considering what Futurama did, so we'll just have to see how everything goes. ^_^ It might not be a bad thing.

Well, they never tried putting a comedy show in the middle of the Action Block. It makes no sense to me why they would do it now. And the episodes of Boondocks will probably be repeats, i don't see why people might be interested. Anyways, i'm still pissed about GITS, how patient do they think i am.

You are still going to watch it aren't you? When GITS finally does air, you are going to watch it, so thats why they are doing that. Plain and Simple, armand. ^_~
As for Wolf's Rain, yeah, thats done. I don't think it got good enough ratings.

when will Wolf's Rain be aired again? The chance of that happening is not that bad. I give it a 50% chance of returning. Many people working at AS actually liked it. Plain and Simple, armand. ^_~ As for Wolf's Rain, yeah, thats done. I don't think it got good enough ratings. I will definitely watch it, but till that time, i will curse Adult Swim a couple of times. Those bastards keep torturing me and yet i still do what they want me to do. How wonderful. Ratings weren't that great but anime doesn't get really good ratings in general. But it's DVD sales are pretty decent aren't they? For WR being an anime, it actually got pretty good DVD sales. Still, its dvd sales aren't impressing.

There you go. They know you are gonna watch it anyways, so they torture you in the process to almost force you to watch it when it does come on.
But I highly doubt that Wolf's Rain will come back on, at least for a while.

I'm currently trying to break the strong bonds that i once had with AS. In the near future, i will no longer be dependant on AS. But for now, i'll be AS' bitch.
You are right about WR, it won't come back in the near future, but it is a strong possibility that it will return(perhaps at a really late time).

AS is confusing me. I mean they constantly change the line-up when the good shows are getter better! I hate it!

But you are still gonna stay up and watch it aren't you?
Oh, btw, Cowboy Bebop tonite!! Don't forget!!
I have broken the bonds with adult swim. I haven't watched it in about 2 weeks, and instead, have gone to my radio for sleep. Mua ha ha ha. I am all-powerful.

Yes. The Bebop movie is tonight. Even though I have it on DVD, I'll end up watching it anyway. Such is the joy of Bebop.
