All right, time for another episode discussion. First of all, this: So many cute animals keep dying, what's going on? All right, now for the good stuff, the mysterious kid that appeared on the island. Who the hell is he/she? Why is his/her right arm different from his/her left one? It seems that will get our answers during the next episode, "Untainted Child".

I think the kid is one of the 7 deadly sins IMO... and the animals kept dieing BECAUSE THEY NEEDED FOOD! But in all honesty people, was I the only one rooting for Ed and Al to stop that fox before the rabit got eaten? Poor thing

Yuh. The kid is to be one of the sins. Which one, I won't say, nor his relation to any of the other characters or anything about the arm. But he's cute in a really off kind of way.
I couldn't believe it when the fox turned and bit Ed. I totally was not expecting that to happen. I'd really like to know why Izumi's man felt the need to beat the shit out of Ed and Al for a good portion of that month....he never explained that much. Just kind of laughed it off.

All right, Crickie, you have confirmed my suspicions. Of course that it can also be considered a spoiler. And i usually hate spoilers but i guess it isn't anything major.
So, if this kid really is a sin, then he/she is either Pride or Wrath. And if i had to guess, then my choice would be Wrath. And that would mean there is just one unknown sin, maybe it is one of the characters we already know.
And what strikes me about the arm, it is that during the preview of the next episode, Ed said something about a scar that seemed familiar. Don't know how all of this connects, but i know it is something major.
I also found the masked man's behavior irrational. He was supposed to prevent the brothers from dying but all he did was beating the crap out of them. It makes no sense.

It was so the boys wouldn't just relax out there... if they really wanted to have a life in alchemy, they'd have to know how to overcome certain challenges... thats what I took from it at least

Yeah but he didnt need to almost kill them... he beat the shit out of Al for like 10 minutes. But yeah i guessed it was him from the start, it was obvious. Yeah armand you are right about your suspicions, he is Wrath. And its pretty obvious to connect the dots now, i wont say anything but, he has different colored arms if u noticed, and Ed remembers a scar on his arm... and Izumi became silent when they asked about her family... and Izumi is smiling at him lovingly in the preview... and Izumi beat them up when they talked about human alchemy... and when they tried to transmute their mom she came back as a homonculus from the failed transmutation... there put it all together.

Oh dear god Scarred, put some giant spoiler marks on what you write next time. So many spoilers, i feel like crying.
All right, you made it so simple, why don't you just connect the points already.
Different color arms, one of them is not his/hers. Ed remembering a scar after this boy or girl appeared. It means it is his arm. The scar must've comed from that fox biting him.
So, this kid was created after Ed's failed attemp at human transmutation.
And Izumi is still a mystery to me. She tried human alchemy before, i'm certain of it. But i have no idea why.

The spoiler tag is for people who have not yet seen One is All, All is One and don't want to be spoiled before they have a chance to see it, not people who don't want to be spoiled on future episodes. I apologize for the unintentional spoiler, Armand. I won't say anything else about episodes to come. I flipped through some of the synopses on fullmetal-alchemist.com because I was getting antsy during the reruns before the new episodes started airing again.

armand, what is there to be "playing stupid" about?
The thread has spoilers in it, OBVIOUSLY. So if you came to this thread with the intention of not getting spoiled, well then your just f**king retarded

Sean, listen. The thread is for discussing One is All, All is One. The spoiler tag in the title for this thread is for people who don't want to be spoiled about what went on during One is All, All is One. That is the purpose of the spoiler tag. We are discussing that episode. Somebody may not have seen it at the time this was posted and would not want to stumble into it and be spoiled. Discussion of episodes to come (because the spoilers accidentally divulged are a good two or three episodes away from All is One, One is All) is not to be expected in a thread that is supposed to be about All is One, One is All. That is why (I am assuming) Armand is pissed. It is not assumed that spoilers for the future are okay in a thread regarding a single episode. I think you are a slight confused as to what a spoiler is concerning this particular thread. But when questions and conjectures are being given regarding one episode leading into another, it's hard to avoid spoilerage (I for example, thought Armand really did want to know what was up with the freaky kid..lol. How wrong I was. I'm an extremely literal person).

No need to apologize Crickie, I know you didn't do it intentionally. I just hate being spoiled. Well, Sean, i didn't come to this thread, I MADE it. And at first, the tag clearly said minor spoilers meaning...read what Crickie wrote. But then after some spoilers, i changed the tag to SPOILERS, just so that those who just wanted to discuss this particular episode wouldn't get unwanted spoilers. Ok, i'll make it simpler. (minor spoilers) facts known from the current episode and back to previous episodes. Example: GITS: SAC-Eraser[minor spoilers] Spoilers- the thread contains both current known facts and facts from future episodes. Example: Innocent Child (FMA) Spoilers

I haven't seen the second season yet, but I know a thing or two about that new humonculus if you'd like to know: [!!!WARNING SPOILERS!!!] Name: Wrath Gender: male Status: humonculus Reason for oddly colored arm/leg: Wrath was stuck in the Gate until Edward opened it in order to bring his mom back. When Edward lost his arm/leg to the Gate, Wrath was released and the arm/leg was attached to him somehow.... Reason for being in the Gate: He was the miscarried son of Izumi, Edward's alchemy teacher. She attempted a human transmutation to bring her only child back, but it failed and he remained stuck inside the Gate. The list could go on. Please forgive me for any spoilers...And if you are wondering about anymore humonculi, or the human characters, just ask me.
