I finally finished it...I've had the hoddie for about 2 months and finally finished this like 2 days before Ohayocon, but because my cat needed emergency surgery to remove plastic from his belly I didn't get to go. I got some decent pics today in the snow though. So, whatdya think?

The hoodie was a wal-mart buy, but it looked nothing like that when I bought it, I had to open up the head opening, the collar came up to my neck, and Hige's opens up a lot more. I had to add the stripes, hack off and hem the sleeves, remove the waistband, chop off three inches of length then sew it back on, and add the pocket/snap. It was $6 but I don't think wal-mart carries that color anymore though, it was in the bargain bin two months ago, when I was there buying a wig cap last week they were gone. The undershirt was a $5 turtleneck I canibalized from wal-mart, just took off the collar and hemmed it. I've had the pants, I just added the stripes/lines at the knees. I think the pants came from wal-mart, I can't remember, but they're a boys size 16...they don't make pants like that for adults that I know of. they came with cargo pockets/red stripes that had to be removed...and that took forever since they were backsitched. The whole thing only took 10 hours though, including the collar, but it isn't easy for people not experienced with sewing, sweatshirt material sucks to sew, the machine will fight you.

Thanks! ^^ Yeah, I'm kinda anal about details too, especially on easy costumes like Wolf's Rain where there's no excuse for getting things wrong. Yeah, that wig's a trip isn't it? A few people on cosplay.com thought it was my real hair, and some guy at meijer thought I was a guy, lol.
