No, that's Sean Shemmel I think. Sabat does Piccolo, Vegeta, Yamcha, and a bunch of other guys in DBZ as well as the old narrator. He does all sorts of stuff in the other FUNi productions too.

You must have read that in the credits or something cause there is no way that you could've known that they were all the same guy. Gosh, he must get paid a lot if does all of those voices.

Eh, I like the fact that most studios use the same casts. But I absolutely hate it when voice actors used over and over don't change their voice one bit... Examples of this are seen in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon, and some ADVFilms releases.

Yes, like very distinct voices done by people with absolutely zero range. You know it's them every time!

Like Joshua Seth?? Cause I heard him in Digimon, Cyborg 009, Wolf's Rain, etc. But it has to be hard to change your voice and do all the laughing, screaming stuff with it. So cut them some slack. In time all will be well again.

Many voice actors have proven that wrong. (the whole "it must be hard to change their voice during screaming, laughing, etc." thing I mean). But trying to match your voice with the mouth movements of a character is much more difficult, of course. And yes, Joshua Seth is one of those voice actors who has no range.

Well, I mean somevoice actors just can't do that, or they can't make their different voice suit the character. I liked the voice cast of Witch Hunter Robin. Everyones voice suited them perfect and there were hardly any voices I recognized.
I guess you have a point with trying to match your voice with the movements, but don't they usually do the voices first??

In Japan, yes they do the voice work first and the animators draw the mouths to match up. But in the dubbing process, its the opposite. The voice actors are set up in a booth, with a screen infront of them. The clip in which a dub voice needs to be placed is played on the screen, and its up to the voice actor to match up their lines quickly enough to the mouth movements of the animation.

Wow, I didn't know that. Where do you people find this stuff at? "the internet"-Timmy Turner-Fairly Odd Parents. lol. jk. But that sounds really tough. I guess that would make it even harder if you were changing your voice??

I've known the dubbing process for a few years now. If you have the Bebop Movie dvd, they show the dubbing process in the Character Featurettes. > .0 And yes, it is rather tough, but some voice actors seem to do it with ease, like Sir S. Blum.

If you're thinking of Sir Alec Guiness or Sir Ian McKellen, both famous actors, it's because those guys have been knighted.
