Agreed, Thanks for the info. I'm starting to worry that there hasn't been a WR soundtrack volume 3 by now. Wolf's Rain is getting pretty 'old' in Japan. I love Cowboy Bebop and it's music, but I honestly think Yoko Kanno's work on WR is even better. It's gonna drive me nuts if ALL those 'unknown' tracks remain unreleased. I only hold out hope because it is Yoko Kanno after all, she has a great following in Japan and around the world. Some of those 'unknown's' are really beautiful tracks too... ... ...

Who here aggrees with me that the first sound track is a load of crap, there are no real good songs that you can listen to again and again, in fact ,i.m.o., there are only a few good song period, hardly enough to waste the time putting the cd in the player before you have to take it out and put something else in.

Who here aggrees with me that the first sound track is a load of crap, there are no real good songs that you can listen to again and again, You are talking about the first OST as if it were a mainstream pop album, its a soundtrack which (in anime's case) means is primarily score unless its a special album of some description.I think both of the soundtracks are great and its some of Yoko's best work. The second OST is a little better overall but they are pretty much as good as each other. (but thats just my opinion) Theres no date for the second OST to be released stateside as far as i am aware. But if you are interested (although not from the sound of ur last post) Amazon.com have the import from Japan, that or you can just order it from Japan Buy it here... www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00013YSZY/qid=1105939542/sr=8-11/ref=pd_ka_4/002-2944764-4689619?v=glance&s=music&n=507846

Sorry, but if you can't appreciate Yoko Kanno's genius in music making, I gotta question your tastes. But then, everyone has their defination of 'good music'. I personally like both of the Wolf's Rain OSTs, but then, I'm very open minded when it comes to music, so maybe that's just it. ^^

Wow, wow, wow, so it seems that I've stepped into a nest of fire ants, now to address all the baddies twords my previous post: Why not judge a sound track like a mainstream album? the soundtrack to FLCL, Addict, has no TEXTbadTEXT songs, it does songs that I wont listen to because when I'm driving in my car I like listening to the truley GREAT songs prior to my arriving at my destination. The soundtrack to the Matrix Reloaded also has numerous great songs, as well as the the various soundtracks for .dot hack having just a meriad of good works As for appriciating Yokko Kanno's work, I did sa that there were some good songs, but even the best artists can't create gold on every try. Further more I would like to thank Squall for the info. of the 2nd sound track, that will be all...I left a food in the oven

Yeah. The young girl's rendition of Heaven's Not Enough... I personally think that that was Maaya Sakamoto singing that.

I personally think that that was Maaya Sakamoto singing that. Now that I think about it, It does sound like Maaya. Either that or Yoko Kanno sang it herself as "Gabriela Robin".

Anyone know where I can get Wolf's Rain Soundtrack II in english, and what CD is Toboe's theme on? 1) Sorry, there IS no English. What you hear is what you get. Sorry if the language barrier is a problem to you, but that's just the way it is. 2) There is no defined "Toboe's Theme". If you could point out which episode/scene it was in, could probably help you there. For me, Toboe's "Theme" is Pilgrim Snow, on the first OST, but that's my point of view.
