Um... this is quite far off for both of them, but is anyone going to A-kon or Oni-con? A-kon 2004 Dallas, Texas a-kon.com/Oni-con 2004 Houston, Texas www.oni-con.com/

Texas? Oh my... I'm lucky Otakon was where it was... Anime Weekend Atlanta MIGHT be doable... Anime North might be doable (when is it?).... but Texas? ;_;
Sorry. I'm not as able to travel as lots of you

Actually, if anybody knows of any cons coming up in the San Francisco area, I would be forever grateful - I'm the (only?) guy that tried to do Kiba at this years Otakon (signed plushie ring a bell?) but couldn't find the accursed GAP Winter Collection jacket to do it properly, and would like to find some cons near me. I'm also looking into creating my own otaku society for the local East Bay Area - hopefully I'll bring some more into the fold . -- Vince

purinpuff -> I don't travel much to cons either. I only go to A-kon and the new con in Houston, Oni-con. All the other cons, Otakon, AX, A-Cen and such are all way too far for me. So I only go to those 2 cons. I might not even be able to go to A-kon next year. :/

Wow! You're so lucky! If I could afford it, I'd be on a plane too! Too bad I'm dirt poor. ;_x The only cons I get to go to are Otakon and Katsucon, because I can get there on the bus.

Hey, at least you can go to one of the biggest cons, Otakon!

That IS true but it's only two cons a year then...not that I can afford to go to any more, LOL. x3

I made the best costume ever, and then stuff comes up and I can't go! How frustrating. I was going as Vincent, but it looks like I can't go anyway. Do they have any idea how hard the arm was? Aw well...there's always next year.
Actually, I wore the costume I made at Halloween when I took one of the neighbor's kid trick or treating, but nobody had any idea who I was. I guess nobody near me had ever played Final Fantasy 7.

If I can find the time to attend, I will probably go to Oni con this year. Never been to Houston before so this will be the first time there and a first at the convention. I would love to cosplay, never did that before either. Hmmm, the question is who now.
