The scene I described was from the movie, which is rather different than the series. Same concept but at the same time almost entirely different. Character appearances were changed too, for the better I believe. Motoko just looks too younge in the series.

Ghost in the Shell has some pretty good graphics though, so I give it props for that

Ghost in the Shell has the greatest quality animation i've ever seen, personally. the fight sequences aren't bad either.

It may have great animation, but it doesn't have the greatest fight ever Mwhahahahahahahaha Pokémon forever baby lol j/k, even though I do like that show... Goku VS. Kid Buu = numero uno

yeah but someone has to agree that the fight between Motoko and the Tank in the movie is awesome, but just a little disturbing.

It's good. See it. Must watch that movie. Hahaha it was the first anime I saw, I think I was about 14 and my brother rented it. Watched it, loved it, didn't understand a bit of it but was hooked. And thanks to best buy I was able to buy the special edition not too long ago.

I've seen the two GITS movies, the CB movie and the DBZ movies CN has shown, which I think was the first three.
