you've never heard of saiyuki?  wow. personally i've never seen it, but i thought saiyuki was fairly popular, you know, one of those anime that everyone's heard about, but not necessarily seen. |

Yeah...I have heard about it too...haven't seen it....but I suppose they might share some basic themes but that does not make them similar...I'm just speculating...
