Yeah. FMA is over and Inuyasha will hopefully end this year. And the folks at Adult Swim have acquired two new animes.
Eureka Seven: Renton is a young boy in a world where “lifting,” an extreme form of hoverboarding, is common. Renton’s life is changed forever by a mysterious and beautiful young girl named Eureka. Eureka Seven will debut on Adult Swim on Saturday, April 15.
Bleach: Ichigo Kurosaki is an average 15-year-old who never asked for the ability to see ghosts. He was born with the gift. When his family is attacked by a Hollow, a malevolent lost soul, Ichigo becomes a Soul Reaper, dedicating his life to protecting the innocent and helping the tortured spirits find peace. Bleach, licensed from VIZ Media, debuts this fall.
Eureka 7 is about 50 episodes long and I have read nothing but good reviews.
Now Bleach is currently 78 episodes long and it is still ongoing in Japan. I'm currently watching this one. And it seems quite good for the moment. Yet, long anime series tend to turn into Inuyasha-like kinda of anime.
It seems i'll have to start watching AS once again. Netflix won't save me this time.

I've heard good things about Bleach. I have a friend who's currently into the mangas, and I've read about the general premise of the show. I have no idea what the anime is like, but so long as they don't try to go too comical with it, I think I'll definitely give it a watch.
They'll have to pull something in to replace Samurai Champloo, too, unless they honestly plan on having it float around in rotation forever, which I hope they wouldn't. They were already rerunning it before it even ended.

Yeah I've heard about Bleach before.... a lot of people compare it with Naruto. It'll be interesting to finally watch.
I was kinda hoping for a Gundam Seed Destiny, as I know it's being dubbed damnit I just wish CN would put it on sometime

Well, i have much higher hopes for Eureka 7 than Bleach. Bleach was fun...for a while... And Sean, the first DVD for Gundam Seed Destiny already came out. You don't have to wait for CN to air it. Don't be a cheap bastard.

I don't watch the Anime on AS, so I would love it if they aired more Saved by the bell. Just to piss the anime people off.

But Saved by the Bell is back in production. Won't be surprised if they start airing the new episodes in the near future. It also pissed off a lot of the comedy fans...for some reason.

Haha, it's back in production? Why? I think because it was so random, it's not really a comedy (well it is kind of supposed to be), it's an after school special after all and it's not animated.

I think because it was so random, it's not really a comedy (well it is kind of supposed to be), it's an after school special after all and it's not animated. Be amazed... Adult Swim has done it again! Following hot on the heels of Fox's Family Guy, Saved By The Bell has been pulled from cancellation with an order for 30 all new episodes taking place at Bayside High. "We were ecstatic when we saw the early numbers on Saved By the Bell on Adult Swim," said Matt Laster, the VP of Turner Entertainment's newly created 80's Reclamation Department. "We knew this had the potential to be big, but we never thought it would be this big. The fans have really shown their support and come out in droves on the adultswim.com website." According to Laster, the new series is still in development but he did say that almost all of the original cast would be returning, minus "Showgirls" star Elizabeth Berkley. The series will follow the events after Saved By the Bell: The New Class and find Screech as the new principal of Bayside and a retired Mr. Belding as the proprietor of the Max, the hangout that the Saved By the Bell gang frequented. Screech is overwhelmed by the new group of students and puts out a call for help, and soon, all of the old regulars are back at Bayside. Laster would not elaborate on the status of Zack and Kelly's relationship, though the couple were last seen walking down the aisle. "I've spoken to the crew and they really can't wait to get back together," said Laster. "We think this will be a fun and exciting new direction for Adult Swim and we can't wait to find even more great 80's comedies for Adult Swim."

Saved by the Bell just pissed me off because it just plain doesn't belong on AS, to me. Because I didn't like it when it was on when I was a kid, and I sure as hell don't like it now. I watch AS to see things I can't really see on other channels, Family Guy aside (TBS shows it, but AS had it first). I can think of about nine other channels that could easily show SBTB reruns (come on....NogN, Nick at Night, TBS, WGN), and AS isn't one of them. I dunno about Eureka Seven...it looks decent, but I've missed more than half of the aired episodes. And I'm looking forward to Bleach in the fall. I watch the subs and love them... it's a lot less cheesy than I thought it would be. I'm also watching some other sub, which I never can remember the name of, but it has something to do with making bread and Solar Hands and a competition. It's an anime about bread, basically...lol. As fluffy as it is, I'd like to see that, too, though it doesn't have a place on AS, and I'd be insulted to see it stuffed in a time block with Bo-Bo-Bo and One Piece. So I should cast aside hope for that one.
And as for another "season" of Wolf's Rain: considering there wasn't really a season 1, and that the show was released in 2003, I wouldn't count on it.

Yeah...sometimes it seems that AS is run a bunch of monkeys. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Eureka 7 isn't extremely good right now...it seems they are pretty much introducing the characters at the moment before diving into the plot. However, it seems to get a lot better later on...or so I hear. There are some rumors that Bleach will air in September but knowing Adult Swim, they might delay the air day until November. I am currently up to episode 79 and I have pretty much lost all interest...I hate filler arcs. And a second season of Wolf's Rain? Nah. The odds for winning the lottery are much better than the odds of a second season.
