Scarred - *blink* ummm....language? Kiba never "nearly" had you-know-what with Myu! ("small rant" I get somewhat "horny" when people talk about that...or when i watch it in movies...) For one thing, did you not notice he was DRESSED?! All he did was fall on top of her then he kind of...just ambled off. Yes, Hige I realised did have an interesting conversation with Kiba. He almost sounded like he liked Kiba. Again, just a buddy-buddy type thing. After all, he has a girlfriend and whatnot.

Devinfire - true, true....I guess I should have had it end with something like this:

"...They started traveling again. Cheza leading the way now. Hige was far behind, mourning the loss he was not able to keep without remaining depressed. They all sighed sadly, but a flicker of hope still kindled a secret fire in their hearts...."

Would that have been better?

Im in no way suggesting or telling you how to write a story, but in the current situation the gang was in I was expecting them to maybe make a burial for Kiba and mourn alittle more than they did. after that they'd continue on, after making peace with Kiba, but again you should decide how you want things to go.

You do have a point. But the thing is, wolves don't do the burial thing. They didn't have any humans with them anyway. Yes, they could have mourned a little more, but I thought it would be a waste of words if I had "they mourned" everywhere. So I guess the person reading it can lengthen the mourning as long as they want.

i would like to take this opportunity to point out that the wolves in Wolf's Rain do not act just like the wolves in our world. They became more human having to masquerade as them. Now, I'd also like to point out that wolves do the burial thing. Did you not watch episode 5? do yourself and favor and watch it... pay close attention to the middle and end.

as for extending the mourning in your fic... you dont have to put "they mourned" everywhere to show emotion. come up with a creative way to convince the reader that the characters are crushed at their allies death. having them jump right up and say " later kiba, well were outta here" is not emotion at all. not to mention that tsume kicking Kiba seemed way out of character.

I can't remember much about episode 5 so I asked my friend about it and she said tehre was some kind fo burial with Hige's Gramps...although that was self dug and the wolves didn't dig it for him....

Come on guys! I am working on something....and maybe for slight spoiler, two. I'm doing one that's just basicly "second season" and the next one after that will be a crossover of WR and Star Wars. Cast for that one:

Kiba - Luke (same personalities)
Tsume - Darth Vader ()
Hige - Han Solo (they're both totally girl crazy!)
Blue - Princess Leia (both kick ass)
Toboe - Chewbacca? not sure about him yet...(both kind of cowardly but brave....)
