Okay, I guess I'll be the cynical one here. I liked Kiba at first, but then Cheza came along and he didn't care or have any eyes for anything else, but her and her relationship to paradise, and I got really annoyed with him. I don't think of his relationship to her as anything, but a blind obsession. I see Cheza's relationship to him is more of a adoration. Kinda like a little brother or even a pet. Now excuse me as I run from all the Kiba x Cheza fans. *runs* I agree. I don't think their relationship is a romantic one. And his obsessiveness is a little irksome. I keep wanting to shout at the screen, "Hey, you're not the only one who wants to get to Paradise for the right reasons." The other wolves care for Cheza also, but he seems a little possesive if you ask me. And I am not saying this because I want him for myself... uh, heh.

I know what you mean about the wanting to shout at the screen...*sigh* Hopefully Kiba will pull it together sooner or later, meanwhile I'll pull my hair until I can see what happens in the next episode, which for me is A Dream of An Oasis.

Well I found out Cheza was blind, so if you think about it it makes sense that Kiba carries her around, the problem though is that makes people think that they have a romantic relationship.

......I believe Kiba cares a great deal about Cheza. I mean why would he work this hard to try and get her. And if its such a hazard to the rest of the pack, they'll leave. Just like in the episode 'Castle of the Fallen.' They all decided to just let Kiba go and get Cheza.

It's not as iff the others didn't want to find her, they just wanted to rest a bit before continuing the search. However, Kiba was in his "obssesive" mode, and wanted to keep looking no matter what.

Because he probably knew that Darcia would end up killing her, so he went in for a rescue

Kiba's an okay guy and all,but obsession with paradise and Cheza makes him kind of one-note in my opinion.I know it shows things from his past to make him seem more complex and all that jazz.Still I don't think he has as much personality as the other characters.Well he DOES have more personality than that pink mutant Cheza.

I've been hoping that eventually Kiba will have to decide between either finding paradise or staying with Cheza; perhaps in an episode where Kiba manages to learn more about Cheza's past and or life cycle or other. The whole pack could debate the issue as to split the screen time I suppose.
Cheza's character is flat, but then it is debatable if she is rather sentient or just fulfilling some hormonal desire or instinct . But then how much depth can a flower have?

i believe that root of all this obsession is simply a form of fear.....fear of being alone again....fear of never finding paradise....fear of never being understood.....everything revolves around a certain emotion and begins to grow.....isn't that how obsessions start? anyway...in continuation of the former thought....it all branches out....Cheza is his salvation....his safety blanket... a person who can remove all fear and replace it with hope.... true he probably has feelings for her, and true that during his trials they had grown closer together, each seeking comfort from the other....however the ultimate motive from which the affection was sprouted was when he strived to find a life where he does not constantly have to run....and cheza is his means.....the beginnings of affection that had begun to weave around the two all began with the heart of the matter..... his resulting intensity to find Cheza also is another branch.....if someone takes away paradise wouldn't you want to find it again? wouldn't you do almost anything to get rid of the fear and feel safe again? in Cheza he sees a hope for the future and when taken the hope would die....so he fights to keep her.....to keep the hope alive inside him..... feel free to disagree.....i do not offend easily......

Kiba loves her like a "sister" since their not of the same kind. Also his obession is normal, i would think it came from "paradise" itself. That voice that calls out to him. He sees cheza as the way and knows that she is the only way.

He sees cheza as the way and knows that she is the only way. That is probably what is realy going on through his head. I think that he is at a crossroad of realy caring for her and using her as a key to his eternity
