ok so we see each noble having at least one but usally many more helpers...i have my own things but i'll post em later it is 2 after all
anyway so these helpers they seem/can live as long as nobles so the questions up for discussion are
1) if the nobles and there helpers came from the same world...what seperates the nobles from them (other than they all look the same) 2)why does it seem that depending on the nobles sex the helpers are opposite 3)whats with those orbs 4)why you think out og all the helpers we got to see most of darcia's helper...what do u think her purpose or how did the viewer (us) prosper by meeting this one?
P.S. i've been off the boards awhile and there no action in this part of the board i looked back and didn't see a topic like this...and even if there is one we have plenty of new people to give there two cents

She was there to give us some insight on Darcia, and to also show that Darcia cares about people and isn't some powerful noble who thinks he is God's gift to this world (IE. The other nobles ;\) Now granted Darcia doesn't care about everyone... but I never saw Jagara or Lord Orc ( ) care about anyone but themselves.. unlike Darcia

Or, in their home planet, the helpers were still helpers. There must have been social classes in the nobles' world as well. 2)Why do nobles have helpers of opposite gender to themselves? Because they feel lonely at night. Also, it would look pretty weird if Darcia had a bunch of guys in tights surrounding him. 3)Orbs that see everything, pretty useful items. You never know when an enemy noble will attack your keep. 4)Neige was used so that we could get an insight into the lives of these helpers.

Maybe it was because like Sean said, darcia has a bigger heart than the other nobles. Or, it could be that whereas they have hundreds and he has only one, he had to treat her better. And from episode 12 when she is crucified we do know that he does care for her.
