I had a dream last night. My Mom thinks it was because of the wolf show I watched on Discovery called "Living with Wolves". Maybe so. I have a WordPad file that has all my dreams listed as well as ,my thoughts about it. What it might mean and such. Here's my entry: 05-09-2005 "Wolf...Kiba...?" Last night I watched a show on Discovery called "Living with Wolves" and all the personalities shown in the wolf pack were exactly like in the anime I watch and love, "Wolf's Rain". Later mom and I watched a bit of "Feet of Flames". But surprisingly I didn't dream of Michael Flatley himself teaching me how to do Irish dancing, I dreamed of myself being a totally different species! I was a Wolf. I never realised the setting of the dream until later the next day while doing dishes and thinking about my film, "Wolf's Rain: Leader of the Pack". I had been acting on set as Kiba. I was growling and barring my teeth, I was in human form, but had the heart and spirit of a wolf. I had rather medium lenght dark brown hair (almost black), I wore a jacket that was much like Kiba's...and everything else I knew he wore, I wore in the dream. I don't remember if there was a camera around, but I was obviously growling angrily at something. I never howled, but I was growling. I woke up at a strange point. Growling the whole time I was scrunched down and my head was about as high as a wolf's head would be. Is this a sign that my film idea will work? Or is it supposed to make me uderstand Kiba more? Or is it showing me what his purpose was and that I have the same thing in me? Is that why Tori thinks I'm a lot like Kiba? Questions, questions, questions. That's all that come with a dream like this. Questions that probably won't be answered by anybody except by time.anybody else have dreams like that? I swear to God that I WAS Kiba!!! I had the same appearance and I felt 100% wolf! That has never happened before to me! Although I was a computer animated camera once... uhhh....

Some dreams are detailed and physically connected, sounds like a good dream to have despite the growling 'threatened' status you were in!
Dreams are usually not premonitions but meant to think about it and come to a conclusion like you would being awake.

Yeah, basically think of dreams as your mind combining dozens of experiences and aspects of your life into one moment, and then attempting to mold a cohesive story or idea from them. My dreams are almost always terrifying. I'll wake up in a cold sweat, too frightened to move. Night terrors, I think they're called. Be grateful you have such uplifting dreams

I normally don't dream, well I'm almost sure I dont though everyone says you HAVE to dream to be rested.
I have my mind thinking about it, but I'm almost in like 'void' stasis rather than image/movie like dreaming. Though the few times I've entered that state I've ended up with nightmares, just barely get some images then wake up and feel my leg just like twitch massively like a surprise leap when someone scares you, that little jump you do.
I used to have trouble alot when I was younger so I think I built a selfdefensive mental wall, so I've lost out on the dreaming part for the most part, though my experiences have lightened up I still don't have access, though sometimes I manage to come up with a okay dream.

Actually I have dreamt similar to that. Only in mine I dunno if I was supposed to be or not. In my dream I was walking through town and everyone I met treated me like crap, giving me hateful glares and such, even the people I had always known and loved. The sky had been overcast and dark looking, so to get away from it I went to the outskirts of town where I saw an old dead looking tree. I was going to go sit by it to try and figure why everyone hated me, but when I got to the top of the hill it sat on, I found Tsume dead. In my dream I was crushed and I started to cry, when the other three wolves appeared. Kiba told me sadly, "There's nothing we can do." then without another word they all left just as they had come. I was actually crying when I woke up from this dream, and all day afterwards I remained depressed. It effected me unlike so many other dreams I had. It was just strange to me...why would my own kind hate me? And why would I be accepted by the wolves?

I was actually crying when I woke up from this dream, and all day afterwards I remained depressed. It effected me unlike so many other dreams I had. It was just strange to me...why would my own kind hate me? And why would I be accepted by the wolves? Maybe we're the reincarnations of the wolves and it's shining through. It seems to me like you're a wolf in this dream, like me in mine. Or maybe you were Blue...or some other misc. wolf roaming (sp?) around....but then why would you be crying for Tsume? And Kiba comforting you? Boy, you're lucky to even have Kiba in it. The only dream I had with those guys was when I gave to unconsious Tsume a french kiss....but nothing else.... In the series, when a wolf was in it's true form, everybody hated them and feared them, but while in human form they were pretty much accepted. I swear I was a wolf, I felt the paws and such... even the tail, when I was in human form! I think now that their human forms are illusions but they can see themselves in that kind of appearance...it's kind of difficult to explain, really... That's the saddest dream I've ever heard of! Tsume dead...nothing you could do about it...oh, gosh, thank you so much for sharing that! Now I'm going to be depressed (not that I already am from everything else) If you ever got to see that show on Discovery on Sunday (yesterday) you're lucky because they're not playing it again. They have it on DVD on the main site, but that's about it. All the wolves personalities were EXACTLY like the wolves in Wolf's Rain! There was this one that reminded me of Kiba. He was almost white (though the whole pack was the grey Sawtooth Mountain pack) and was observant and quiet. 'Babysitter' of the pups as they called him. He was the Beta male, second in command. Then there was the omega's, they were of the lowest rank and had to eat last. Which made the honor of eating first when it came to Toboe and the walrus even more impressive for the leader to do. Here's what I think the wolves in the series would be called: Kiba - Alpha male (leader) Tsume - Beta male (second in command) Hige - still thinking...he'd be kind of inbetween Beta male and omega I'd guess... Toboe - omega (young, helpless, low rank) full through That's great that I got so many responses! I love it! This is the first thread that I made here so it's kind of a big deal for me... Thanks everybody! I look forward for more!

Wolf's Rain realy depressed me when it ended. I dreamed horrible things for days, and couldn't help thinking that maybe the world is comming to an end.

Thank you...I'm glad I did share. It was a sad dream, and one that held a lot of meaning for me.

This is an interesting dream you’ve had, but it is also complex and confusing at the same time because of the “threatened status” you maintained while in the dream. It is a good thing that you documented it because maybe in the near future you will be able to look back on it and have a better understanding of its meaning. If this occurs please let us know.

I'll be sure to do that, Golden Fire. And yes, I've done that with a previous dream where I was going around this one lake that I knew was this one place in "The Silmarillion". I could even map out where I was. That dream would hold a lot of meaning for me, too, Misc. Nobody. Quite the thing. Wow...you're a true fan, Justinian. To be troubled by the ending of something for days. If it ended with the episode where Toboe dies then I'd be depressed for a while and dreaming horrible things like you said. But I'm sorry to say that for me the actual ending was confusing enough it got my mind off the sadness. I actually sneaked (?) out of my room to watch the first two episodes the next couple nights, just to see Kiba and Toboe again. As a matter of fact, to be my very mushy self in public...(as in here) My mom didn't want me staying up until 2 in the morning anymore, but I couldn't help myself, so I watched the first episode anyway. She knew about that because I had an accident with the radio volume....I nearly cried and begged to watch the second one, because that's when Toboe shows up. I wanted to see and hear Toboe again!!! I still do because [AS] took it off after playing the second episode!! Imagine if I had come in there! I woulnd' have been able to see the rest beyond #2!! Maybe it's a sign that I'm a wolf or something deep inside and that part of me hasn't awoken yet....kind of like the cylons in Galactica, some of them were human all over until a certain time. Like that one asian lady....Boomer I think her name was. Someone oddly suggested that the reincarnation of everything we see at the end was the world today, but another was saying it was in a post WWIII world....I think that might be where it is on the tine line. Because the apocolipse (sp?) hasn't happened yet, has it? The Aztecs had the impression that the world will end in 2012....and I'm doing a manga based then where these demons from hell take over the Earth. I might have to do some research on what the Aztecs thought would happen in 2012....I'm afraid to write the story though. I'm the type that thinks whatever people write or make up will happen. Either where we can see it or hidden in the line of time.... Kiba and them could be going to Paradise right now. I've talked to them before....I think I mentioned that before.... I went to the setting of your dream, Misc. Nobody, and Was there a man on the hill? Behind Tsume? In a suit and kind of a deep voice? Not Hubb that's for sure... Gosh....I'd love to be a dream figure-outer, whatever they're called....I'm surprised that so many people think about what they're dreaming about. I started thinking about what they might mean when I found out that some ancient civilization (sp??) tried to figure those things out.... Threatened? Why does everybody keep saying that? I felt like I was defending something...if that makes any difference. Kick ass dream of mine I'd say if I were wacked. I swear I now know what it felt like to be them when they were in human form.

No, it means that the show left an emotional impression and fascination in. You are one hundred percent human trust me. I think you mean the Mayas, not the Aztecs. The Aztecs supposedly predicted their own demise though. To answer your question this should help you a lot.

Like that one asian lady....Boomer I think her name was. I have to agree with Mach, physically you're 100% human... and if spiritually you are in part something other than human you'd want to go with something more than just a dream for your basis. Someone oddly suggested that the reincarnation of everything we see at the end was the world today, but another was saying it was in a post WWIII world....I think that might be where it is on the tine line. Either where we can see it or hidden in the line of time.... actually, they predicted the end of the current age of the world, which has happened before many times. it's not so much an end as a new beginning, according to the Aztecs. and, as to what they predicted would happen, the records concerning that have been lost, perhaps for good, unless somewhere time, elements, and human destuction (most of the records were burnt when Europeans came and conqured the natives) a few remain yet undescovered. Kick ass dream of mine I'd say if I were wacked. I swear I now know what it felt like to be them when they were in human form. I hope you mean illusion, as they had no human form.

There's something called Lucid Dreaming which I want to learn how to do. The definition of a Lucid Dream is that you are conscience during the dream... as in while you're dreaming, you know you're dreaming. Advanced lucid dreaming is to be able to control the dream. This means that dreams could be your own virtual reality. Read about it here: www.dreamviews.comIf anyone is successful, let us know
