;D Fool! Im getting my first volume of CB soon as well, i already added it on netflix. ~I would recommend FMA as well. It seems like it turns out like Inuyasha, but i think it is more complex than that. It's creative as well. Do not compare 51 episodes of FMA to 167 episodes of Inuyasha. It better not turn into something like Inuyasha. I have high hopes for this anime.

What i meant was at the beginning of the show (when u are first introduced to it) it seems like Inuyasha- people searching for something and fighting odd creatures. Then i said it ISN'T really like Inuyasha to me.

I don't know if FMA is THAT bad, but it's nowhere near the same level of excellence as Wolf's Rain is. Their too different to contrast and compare effectively.

Yep. FMA is good, but WR is excellent.
Like water and wine, to me. Though i really like FMA too, i LOVE WR beyond comparison.

I understand your point on how FMA and Inuyasha are identical. FMA's concept of Alchemy and the journey for the stone could be played out and watered down just like Pokemon and Inuyasha, but since it only has 51 episodes I don't that think happens. I also heard (small spoiler) that the movie is way different than the show. I dunno if I will see the movie but with the speed that AS is going I may be 20 years old by the time it comes out.

No, I didn't mean identical, I meant the concept could have been played out like Pokemon or Inuyasha. You know, they could have made several rebundant episodes where Al and Ed would have to solve problem dealing with Alchemy much like what happens in Inuyasha and Pokemon. Although there are episodes like that, anime like Pokemon revolves around that, they drag out the series to the bitter end. FMA's plot could have been done that way but it wasn't.

Yes, and though i have only seen a few episodes, the show is very fast paced which i enjoy. I also hate it when they drag things out, like DBZ for instance, though of course when i watched DBZ i wouldn't care about the quality of the show as much as the entertainment.

Moved to "General Anime" to join past threads comparing WR with another series.

what an interesting picture you have in your sig, Whiskers. ;D
anyways, i too hate it when a single event gets stretched across ten episodes in an anime, such as the fights in DBZ. some people say that a series with hundreds of episodes is what makes it great, but to me it's what makes me lose interest.

Liek Inuyasha?! -cept its not super-long fights. anyway, what made me lose DBZ's interest was the fact that life and death were NOTHING. characters would die liek 50 times, and they would be brought back.

I agree with you. lol, when a battle takes 30 episodes either something is wrong or the end of the universe is just around the corner.
