I looked the first 3 pages, didn't see any topic like this sooooooooo yeah, I'll go ahead with this post. Greatest TV Show Ever has to be Roseanne, that show was absolutely the greatest ever. Here's a cool site about Roseanne us.imdb.com/title/tt0094540/and here's some funny quotes (you can read more here us.imdb.com/title/tt0094540/board/nest/6094741 ) Roseanne was trying to get over the fact that Dan left her and she wasn't getting out of bed and didn't want any company. Throughout the episode, each member of the family went in her room one by one to try and cheer her up... and each person she dismissed...... Finally the family was like we can't take this anymore and they all march into her room and single file in... and Roseanne looks at them and goes... "WHAT IS THIS.... THE GRAND FINALE!?!" Roseanne to DJ: You're doing that play and that's all there is to it! DJ: Well, dad said I didn't have to and dad outranks you! Roseanne: Are you new? Dan: There is no easy way to make money, Darlene. If there was your mother would have found it by now. Roseanne had the first ever same sex kiss on TV. If you look at the awards section on that website, you'll see how many they had, it's just amazing. It's so fun to watch the characters grow up and develop, and Roseanne does that better than any show ever show. I <3 <3 <3 Roseanne

The Cosby Show. Classic family humor. Either that or Law and Order SVU. I can connect with all the characters on SVU, but the first episodes of the show were kinda melodramatic and corny. I like the new cast now.

I agree. Roseanne was the awesomeness. It was cool watching DJ from this short, stubby little kid to becoming a teenager.
A lot here might not know what I'm talking about, but I consider The L Word to be one of the greatest TV shows, ever. Though it hasn't been on long, it's got potential because it's about time that lesbians got a mature, informed show that doesn't solely play into stereotypes and doesn't objectify them the way shows like Queer as Folk or shows that feature lesbians during the Sweeps period do. The characters are almost real and are portrayed as regular people doing things that regular people do. They go to work, have relationship problems, argue with their friends, make dumb choices, right their wrongs, etc.

Red Dwarf is the greatest show ever created.
It is pure genius and there is no comparison.

I don't know man, I mean Roseanne was just... the greatest. Especially, if you ever watched the last episode of Roseanne, it's just... so great. I cried at the end, I'll admit it, I cried... it was just beautiful. I won't tell you what happened (the last episode) because you should watch it, and it'd help if you actually watched other episodes too before going to see the last one, but IMO, and I think it's justified. Roseanne is the greatest show ever

Family Guy is one of my favorite shows ever, and now Seth will be more ofcused on his new show. Also they simply replaced an alcoholic dog wiht an alien, and some other crap. I support family guy.

I saw one episode of American Dad and haven't turned it back on since. It's....bland compared to Family Guy. The son is just irritating, and that alien isn't doing anything for me. Give me Chris and Brian anyday. And Quagmire! Come on! "Giggidy-giggidy-giggidy!" Nah. American Dad isn't my cup of tea. Family Guy, on the other hand, is my shiz. I also like The Oblongs.

Family Guy never gets old to me. with the exception of a few episodes, i could watch it again and again and still find it hysterical. ;D
