*goes to netflix immediately* I want to see the striking down yet helping of others through a suspensful, slightly scary and demented anime show! *takes in a few deep breaths*

*grins evilly* Yay! Another chance to scare myself half to death and thus make me even more paranoid. Anyway, where did you buy them? Online or what? I really like the series so far and I'd love to see how it progresses. Best Buy. Suncoast had them for 5 bucks more a piece.

So, my best choice would have to be Best Buy.

And concordently, Best Buy had them for $24.99. Save five bucks. Preorder Advent Children.

It was the first episode I watched the whole way through and I pretty much understood what was going on. Okay, not all of it, but some

Oi... would anyone like to explain what THEY got from last night's episode? This episode left me with a dazed look on my face for a long time. Episode 5: The Holy Warrior is about Kozuka and his deluded sense of reality, thinking that he's striking agents of evil in some sort of pseudo role-playing game turned reality. Ikari and Maniwa try to delve into his world to try to figure out why he attacked the people, with Ikari very reluctant and Maniwa rather open to the whole thing. SLIGHT SPOILER: However, from the episode, you might be able to deduce that Kozuka really isn't Li'l Slugger, and just a copycat. But, like most of Satoshi Kon's works, there's a lot left to interpretation. It's sort of a take what you will from it kind of anime. This episode is probably the least creepy of the entire series.

Okay, thats basically what i thought, that he was a little bit insane and just thought he was role playing.
I would never have thought of him to be a ... you know... (spoiler warning) copycat, but im glad he is, because i was pissed, thinking that lil slugger, who i thought was this cool guy, was just some insane little kid.
Hmm.. copycats and creepiness, this is starting to have a little GITS-ish feel to it.

It was a guide to a videogame/computer game most likely. Kozuka used the guide to help him live out his fantasies. But another thing I noticed, is that Kozuka's alter ego ( The Holy Warrior ) looks like the old school Final Fantasy characters designed by Yoshitaka Amano. I wouldn't be suprised if it was intended that way.

My woman's intuition says that it's a fabricated game made up for the show. You could always go and pick up a regular game guide for Final Fantasy or something and pretend you live in that world. They're only about $15 a pop.
