My woman's intuition says that it's a fabricated game made up for the show. You could always go and pick up a regular game guide for Final Fantasy or something and pretend you live in that world. They're only about $15 a pop. buddy I don't want the book for the content, I want it cause I'm a fan of the show...sometimes the company does makestuff from the game like that for some extra profit, like when card captors was on you could go to block buster and buy the cards for.....i don't know ... upwards of $25...not sure, was never a fan of that show.... anyway I was wondering if they made it since they made that stuffed pink dog thing(you can get it in the box set) if they made the book too. besides, I already own all american FF games and guides...and some japanese ones too...I am a fan of Final Fantasy also They haven't made one as far as I've seen, being that the book was briefly in one episode. I'll have to look around through, I've been meaning to get a Maromi the Dog keychain.

last nights episode of Paranoia Agent was very good. Well, I mean, last saturday's episode, which I couldn't catch, was very good. (I just saw it last night on the thursday line-up)
this is alitle late, but it really was a powerful episode. The ending was magnificient, perhaps one of the best I've seen for awhile. Most likely the reason that I enjoyed this episode so much was because the character it focused on happens to be my favorite PA character. That and he reminds me so much of Togusa.
at least now I know. for awhile I thought little slugger was nothing more than a illusion those drowning in emotional depression cooked up. I mean, they thought and felt he was there, but he wasn't, but last night confirmed for me atleast, that he does exist, in some kind of form or another.

Yeah, well, everyone has their opinions. I for one, thought it was well played out, and nuts isn't the right term for his case. I think it was more like a lust for the truth behind his case. of course, I infer that he's most likely going to be the next on little slugger's list. him resigning from his job, having those paranoid dreams...
But, if you didn't like it, whatever.

I loved the episode too... and you're right he reminds me of togusa a little bit.
I was only confused by one thing... whats the deal with that old man and that magic show and the visions he was having?

I was only confused by one thing... whats the deal with that old man and that magic show and the visions he was having? See, that old man is quite interesting. His equations in the first two episodes predicted who were going to be hit next. And that magic show, it alludes to how L'il Slugger is able to walk through walls and be one single person but at different places. Probably the detective thinks that old man is L'il Slugger.

Latest episode.... downright odd. But I liked it. But damn... wierd. I never would have expected such a light-hearted yet twisted... episode. I mean, it was comedic, somehow, it found a way to make death humorous. Pretty wierd stuff. I was totally expecting something like the episode before this one.

Yeah, the lastest episode was very odd. A really twisted comedy relief, very different from what i expected. The only thing that confused me is that man who jumped into the incoming train. He survived somehow or maybe he didn't. I'm not sure what happened during that scene.
Well, after the latest episode, i think this whole L'il Slugger event is turning into another stand alone complex.

I love the opening of Paranoia Agent...not sure why, but it sucks me in. I never quite get past that point, unfortunately. I'll watch the opening every time it comes on. I've tried three times to watch the show, but it just never manages to hold my attention. I tried to watch GitS a few times, too, with the same result. I think they're both amazingly well drawn, but I suppose the premise just can't keep hold of my eye and mind. I have become quite attached to Samurai Champloo, though.

now this is just my tryin' to focus everything thats been goin' on in this show, so correct me if i', wrong, but the Lil' sugger that was arrested was actually a copycat, and was also "Fox" one of those people who wanted to die, He was killed by the real Lil' Slugger, who looks just the copycat......
Question: was it Lil' Slugger or the copycat who knocked out all of those people in the first couple episodes...and why is Lil' Slugger killing everyone now?
